My name is Saray, and more than a therapist, I consider myself to be a companion on the path to wellness.
My vocation was born out of a deep desire to understand the body, exploring your language silent and helping others to reconnect with that sense of calm and inner connection that, in the end, we all seek.
So it was that started this journey: a journey between body, mind and energy that is today embodied in Equilibrium Therapies, a space where they converge technique, presence, and soul.
Roots therapeutic: the body as a starting point
My professional training began in Spain, within the field of therapeutic massage and body.
I trained in chiropractic and sports massage; disciplines that taught me the importance of conscious contact and deep knowledge of anatomy.
The therapy was my gateway to the world of well-being, because it allowed me to understand that each muscle, each joint and each tissue saved a message: a story that the body tries to tell through its tensions, its locks or fatigue.
From there, I went to expand my training with different therapeutic techniques designed to relieve pain, improve mobility and return vitality to the body.
I discovered that the physical work could transform not only the muscles, but also the way that people feel within themselves.
I learned that when the body is released, the mind becomes calm; and that behind every contracture there is usually something more than a movement, repeated: there are emotions, thoughts or experiences that seek to be served.
This base therapeutic gave me a solid structure and a technical understanding of the body. But with the time I felt that something else was calling me: an intuition more subtle, a desire to understand the invisible, the energy, the spiritual.
It was then when he began the second part of my path.
The call of the East
My search led me away from home, to Asia, where I discovered that well-being is not only to repair the body, but to remember the unity between body, mind and spirit.
The way I took to Thailand, where I was trained in a school of traditional Thai massage.
The Thai massage has taught me that the movement may be meditation, and the touch, when it is born from the awareness, can become in a dance between the two energies.
I spent a long stay there, immersed in the thai culture, understanding that the therapy is not just a technology: it is also the intention, presence, breath.
The Thai was, for me, a lesson of humility, every stretch, every pressure, every silence showed me that healing does not always mean to do, but to allow.
Time later he called me the Indian, I was raised in ayurvedic therapies, and this experience completely changed my way of understanding health.
The Ayurveda is not only a technique, it is a philosophy of life.
There I learned that each person is a unique combination of elements, and that the balance comes when we respect this uniqueness.
This is not to impose, but to accompany the natural flow of energy, of care from the listening and presence.
I also spent a long time in India, beyond the time of formation.
I wanted to live the Ayurveda is not only from the technical knowledge, but from their cultural roots and spiritual.
I shared the daily life with teachers, therapists, local, and I realized that the true art of care is born out of simplicity and connection to nature.
I learned to look at the body as a whole: physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual.
A synthesis between East and West
Back to Spain, I formed all I learned.
My training as a therapeutic western gave me the precision, structure, and the knowledge of the physical body; my experience east gave me the intuition, the calm and the holistic vision of the self.
Today, in Equilibrium Therapies, each massage, and each session is a living synthesis of these two worlds:
the technique which frees the body and the energy that calms the soul.
I don’t believe in protocols closed or treatments are identical.
I believe in human contact, in the deep listening and adapting to each person, each moment, each breath.
For me, each massage is a sacred space where the body communicates and the therapist only accompanies it.
More than a job, a way of life
Being a therapist is, for me, a way of being in the world.
Accompany you from the empathy, the calm and authenticity, providing a space where people can drop, reconnect and really relax.
I’m still learning every day, of every body, every story and every silence.
Because wellness is not a destination: it is a path that is traversed with care, respect and love.
Equilibrium Therapies is the reflection of that journey: a space where there is a confluence of knowledge, sensitivity and energy.
A place where the technique becomes art and the contact language.
And where every person can come back, little by little, the balance that already dwells within them.
